Aug. 13

A 19-year-old man was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and attaching false plates by police responding to a crash on Route 32. Police say the man went home after the crash and changed vehicles because the truck he crashed was not registered.

A 19-year-old man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop for a loud exhaust stop Western Ridge Road. The paraphernalia was reported discovered during a consent search of the vehicle.

Police were called to Tibbett’s Lane for a report of an individual blocking a right of way. The person was issued a trespass warning.

A 1999 Yamaha motorcycle being driven south on River Road by a 42-year-old Bath man lost control on a corner and went off the right side of the road, crashing into a plowed field. Police said the crash was because of excessive speed.

A 2010 Chevrolet Aveo being driven north on North Hunts Meadow Road by a 46-year-old Whitefield man went off the road, down an embankment and hit rocks and small trees before coming to rest in the ditch. Police said the driver fell asleep.

Morgan Pelkey, 21, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault by police responding to a complaint on Chadwick Way.

Aug. 14

Shenandoah Middleton, 40, of Jefferson, was arrested on warrants charging aggravated assault and criminal mischief after turning herself in at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset.
