MONMOUTH—Police are seeking the public’s help in finding those responsible for two daytime burglaries on Sanborn Road over the weekend.
Monmouth Police Chief Kevin Mulherin said the burglaries were reported Saturday evening at homes near the South Shore Drive intersection. The burglar broke in through a window in both homes, which are next door to each other.
“It happened after 10:30 a.m., but before 5:30 p.m.,” Mulherin said. “It was daytime on Saturday. That’s why I’m hoping somebody saw something.”
The thieves took jewelry and electronics from the homes. Mulherin was unsure of the value of the stolen goods.
“They keep finding things missing,” he said.
Mulherin asked anybody who noticed suspicious activity Saturday in the area to call Monmouth Police at 933-9089.
