GREENLAND, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police say a woman drove the wrong way on Interstate 95, striking three vehicles before dying at the scene in Greenland.

Police said they received numerous calls about the southbound car traveling in the northbound lanes in Portsmouth about 10 p.m. Monday.

The drivers of the first and third cars struck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle struck was not injured.

The third accident happened in Greenland, where police said the wrong-way car came to a rest in the right breakdown lane. The driver was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released.
