WINSLOW — Gabe Smith scored all five goals, including four straight to start the game, as the Winslow boys soccer team beat Leavitt 5-2 in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B opener for both teams Friday.

Taylor Roy assisted on three goals for Winslow (1-0-0) while Evan Clark also had an assist. Alex Berard made six saves.

Tyler Roux and Christian Fullerton each scored for Leavitt (0-1-0). Ben Fullerton stopped six shots.

Waterville 5, Brewer 0: Danilo Guthro scored the first of his two goals just 49 seconds into the game and the Panthers shut out the Witches in Waterville.

Tommy Samson also scored two goals for Waterville (1-0). Michael Olivera had two assists for the Panthers.

Zach Disch made three saves for the shutout. Ian Burgess had eight stops for Brewer (0-1).

Bangor 5, Lawrence 5, 2OT: Nate Bach scored three straight goals in the second half as the Rams forced overtime in a KVAC A game that ended in a tie with the Bulldogs in Fairfield.

Drew Bois and Matt Saunders scored twice as Lawrence (0-0-1) jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Josh Audibert and Alex Campbell scored two bring Bangor (0-0-1) within two goals, before Zach Blomerth scored to stretch Lawrence’s lead to 5-2.

Zach Alley had 15 saves for Lawrence, while Liam Harrigan and Colton Markevich combined for three saves for Bangor.

Richmond 6, Valley 1: Eddie Stewart had three goals as the Bobcats beat the Cavaliers in the opener for both teams.

Brett Stillwell, Sam Lorbeski and Randy Moody also scored goals for Richmond. Xavier Trask had two assists, while Curtis Anderson, Stewart and Moody each had an assist. Marcus Blake and Dustin Sullivan both had three saves for the Bobcats.

Carrington Miller scored to give Valley a 1-0 lead. Andrew Tremblay had 18 saves.

Cony 1, Mt. Blue 0: David Audet scored off a pass from Brett Sproul 14 minutes into the game to give the Rams the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Brandon Elwell made 16 saves for Cony (1-0-0) while Zach Veayo stopped six shots for Mt. Blue (0-1-0).

Mt. View 2, MCI 1: Kyle Turner and Bryan Jungels scored in the final five minutes of the game as the Mustangs rallied to win their KVAC B opener against the Huskies in Pittsfield.

James Philbrick and Lorenzo Milani each had an assist for Mt. View (1-0-0). Mikey Hustus had 11 saves to earn the win.

Will Cu scored with an assist from Chris Bourdeau midway through the second half for MCI (0-1-0). Matt Lessard made 12 saves for the Huskies.

Erskine 6, Skowhegan 0: Tyler Adams and Zach Isbell each had two goals and an assist as the Eagles won their KVAC A opener, beating the Indians in South China.

Nick Gayer and Cameron Reed also scored for Erskine (1-0-0), while Dane Pelletier added an assist. Jared Gartley earned the win with three saves.

Camden Despres had 11 saves for Skowhegan (0-1-0).

Girls soccer

Erskine 6, Skowhegan 1 : Avery Bond two goals and an assist, while Kelly McCormack had a goal and two assists to lead the Eagles over the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

Bridget Humphrey, Abigail Glidden and Courtney Bonsant also scored for Erskine (1-0-0). Jade Canek, Alyssa Gartley and Rebecca Reed each had an assist.

Cailee Manzer had the lone goal for Skowhegan (0-1-0) with an assist from Lindsey Booth.

Paige Leary and Mattie Lajoie combined for four saves for the Eagles, while Andrea Quirion had 24 saves for Skowhegan.

Mt. Blue 2, Cony 0: Eryn Doiron scored in the first half and Chelsea Newhall in the second as the Cougars beat the Rams in the KVAC A opener for both teams, in Farmington.

Mackenzie Conlogue had an assist on Doiron’s goal for Mt. Blue (1-0-0). Thia Bridges had 10 saves and Gabby Foy five for Mt. BLue.

Autumn Sudsbury had 22 saves for Cony (0-1-0).

MCI 6, Mt. View 0: Hannah Emery had four goals as the Huskies beat the Mustangs in a KVAC B game in Thorndike.

Carmeline Cunningham and Caitlin Tozier also scored for MCI (1-0-0). Ryleigh Lord had one save.

Logan Basford had four saves for Mt. View (0-1-0).

Winslow 2, Leavitt 1: Pilar Elias had a goal and an assist to lead the Black Raiders to a win over the Hornets in Turner.

Devin Fitzgibbons scored the second goal of the game for Winslow (1-0-0). Jeanne Cote scored for Leavitt (0-1-0).

Hilary Libby made six saves for the Raiders.

St. Dom’s 4, Madison 0: Faith Grady scored two goals and Kelly Pomerleau stopped five shots to lead the Saints to a Mountain Valley Conference win.

Courtney Costello and Kelley Mclellan also scored for St. Dom’s, which led 3-0 at the half.

Savanna Kandiko had 14 saves to pace Madison.
