THORNDIKE — FUTURE MSAD 3 recently announced the scoreboard for the Mount View multi-purpose field has been installed.

Led by Clayton Larrabee of Knox, dairy farmers from Waldo County and beyond contributed more than $10,000 to the athletic campaign to take the naming opportunity of the new scoreboard – “Got Milk?”. Permission was obtained from Milk Processing Education Program to display the licensed logo on the scoreboard. Clayton followed through on his quest to raise funds for the scoreboard by asking farmers to contribute $2 for every cow they milked the morning of their contribution.

The goal of the current campaign is to support additional fixtures, facilities and equipment, such as dug outs, a permanent concession and restroom building, storage buildings, fencing, bleachers, walking trails and much more. For more information on the campaign or to contribute, call 948-6120. Contributions can be mailed to FUTURE MSAD3, P.O. Box 151, Unity, ME 04988.
