ROCKLAND — Jesus Lasos scored the game-winning goal with 59 seconds remaining to give Gardiner a 3-2 win over Oceanside in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B boys soccer game Thursday.

Gardiner took a 1-0 lead when Andy Roberts scored off an assist from Dan Del Gallo. Oceanside then made it 2-1 with back-to-back goals by Sawyer Pilsbury and Caleb Jacob. Josh Caldwell tied the game with another assist going to Del Gallo with 28:07 left in the game before Lasos, a foreign exchange student from Spain, got his goal with yet another assist from Del Gallo.

Ian Lane made seven saves for Gardiner (1-1-0) while Ben Caron stopped two shots for Oceanside (1-1-0).

Hall-Dale 8, Lisbon 0: Colin Lush scored three goals and Zack McNaughton added two as the Bulldogs won the Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Matt Crocker, Steve Hubert and Evan Edgecomb each scored their first varsity goal for Hall-Dale (3-0-0). Brian Allen and Sam Shepherd combined on the shutout, each making two saves.

Andrew Gamache had 13 saves for Lisbon (0-1-1).

Winthrop 3, Mountain Valley 2: Justin Lapointe scored a pair of goals, leading the Ramblers over the Falcons in MVC action.

Peter Michaelson also scored for Winthrop (1-1-1). Austin Glover scored both goals for Mountain Valley (1-1-0).

Girls soccer

Oak Hill 2, Mountain Valley 1: Alyssa Rouleau had a goal and an assist to lead the Raiders to the MVC win in Wales. Gabby Green also scored for Oak Hill (3-0). Kelsey Collins made seven saves.

Kaitlyn Virgin scored for the Falcons (0-3). Karen Flaherty stopped 16 shots.

Field hockey

Messalonskee 9, Cony 0: Kristy Bernatchez scored four goals and assisted on another to help the Eagles earn the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Ahead 2-0 at the half, Messalonskee (3-0) scored seven goals in the second half. Emily York scored a pair and Renee Luettich assisted on three goals.

Cony goalie Kevie Rodrigue made 34 saves. 

Cony is 0-1-1.

Gardiner 1, Erskine 0: Madeline Reny scored on a penalty corner with just under 10 minutes left in the game to give the Tigers the KVAC B win in Gardiner.

Brooke Davis assisted on the Gardiner (2-1) goal. Throughout the game, Erskine (0-3) packed as many as 10 players into the defensive circle, causing problems for the Tigers’ offense.

Emalee Couture made one save for Gardiner while Olivia Philbrook had no saves for the Tigers in the second half. Lexie Savoy had 10 stops for the Eagles.
