St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Waterville

WATERVILLE — St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will begin a new model for its Sunday school classes on Sunday, Sept. 16, called the rotation model. Children will rotate to three classrooms through the course of three weeks. The first room, Movie Morning, will include popcorn and beanbag chairs where children can watch a film. The first film is about how children participate in God’s creation, followed by films on Harriet Tubman and the pilgrim William Bradford.

Another room, Arts and Friends, will allow the children to spend time with a member of St. Mark’s to learn how he or she helps to make church happen. The children can do an art project about the experience.

The final room, Hearing the Story, is a more traditional classroom, where children can begin to learn about the prophets.
