GARDINER — Freshman Nickyia Lovely scored the first two goals of her varsity career to lead the Gardiner past Morse 7-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B field hockey game Saturday.

Nicole Chadwick, Madeline Reny, Brooke Davis, Abby Dyer and LeeAnne Greenleaf also scored for Gardiner (3-1-0). Emalee Couture and Olivia Philbrook combined for two saves.
Bryanne Ringrose made 27 saves for Morse (0-4-0).

Lawrence 3, Cony 0: Kapriece Dahms, Alexis Chamberlain and Chelsey Ballard each scored a goal to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Augusta. Emily Tozier made two saves for Lawrence (3-1-0).
Kevie Rodrigue made 15 saves for Cony (0-2-1) while Kelly Murphy also had a defensive save.

Waterville 3, Erskine 1: Jena Nawfel scored two goals to lead the Purple Panthers to the KVAC B win in South China. Gaby Bridger added a goal for Waterville (2-2-0). Ally Allen scored off a corner for Erskine (0-4-0).

Oceanside 5, Maranacook 2: Hannah Plourde had a hat trick to lead the Mariners to the KVAC B win in Readfield. Isabell Garnes and Phoebe Ferriarolo also scored for Oceanside (4-0-0). Zoe Billington made two saves. Mariah Vining and Lindsay Webber scored for Maranacook (0-3-0). Bri Goetz stopped 15 shots.

Boys soccer

Hall-Dale 9, Winthrop 0: Spencer Shagoury, Nat Crocker and Colin Lush each scored twice to lead the visiting Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Tyler Fitzgerald, Noah Smith and Sam Shepherd also scored for Hall-Dale (4-0-0). Brian Allen made 20 saves.

Matt Sekerak stopped 20 shots for Winthrop (1-2-1).

Monmouth 0, Oak Hill 0, 2 OT: The Raiders outshot Monmouth 9-8 but neither team scored in an MVC game in Wales.

Each team had four corner kicks. Kyle Fields had six saves for Oak Hill (0-3-1). Kasey Smith made nine stops for Monmouth (1-1-2).

Richmond 3, Vinalhaven 1: Eddie Stewart assisted on a pair of goals to help the Bobcats to the East-West Conference win at Vinalhaven. Stewart assisted on goals from Cameron Emmons and Sam Lorbeski. Vinalhaven’s Zeb Campbell cut the deficit to 2-1 with a goal in the second half but the Bobcats regained their edge when Mike Stewart booted in Xavier Trask’s corner kick.

Scott James made 26 saves in goals for Vinalhaven (1-1-0) while Dustin Sullivan had eight saves for Richmond (3-0-0).

Girls soccer

Richmond 11, Vinalhaven 0: Sadie Gosse and Jessie Anair each had a hat trick to lead the visiting Bobcats to the Class D win.

Amber Loon, Payton Johnson and Taylor Clapp each added a goal for Richmond (3-0-0). Kelsie Obi and Ciarra Lancaster combined to make two saves.

Bethany Cadogan stopped 15 shots for Vinalhaven (0-1-0).
