AUGUSTA — MaineGeneral Medical Center’s ninth annual Walk for Hope will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
The 5k walk will celebrate survivors and remember those lost to breast cancer, along with raising awareness. The goal is to raise $150,000 for MaineGeneral’s Breast Care Program and the Breast Care Center at the new regional hospital.
The walk will begin at Sam’s Club and will continue through the University of Maine at Augusta nature trails.
