After meeting Darrick Banda and hearing him speak, I came out feeling this young, intelligent man running for district attorney has an impressive background for law.

He graduated from the University of Maine, summa cum laude, and the UMaine School of Law. While in the Army ROTC, he served as a summer intern to the secretary of the Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Banda served the people of Kennebec and Somerset counties for five years as an assistant district attorney under Evert Fowle. Banda’s experience with litigating tough cases and his regard for law enforcement says he’s ready to be the district attorney and that he’s the right person for the job.

Banda’s 10 years as a criminal lawyer has earned him respect from the Criminal Defense Bar as an accomplished attorney.

Banda’s experience, motivation and enthusiasm will serve him well as district attorney.
