FARMINGDALE — Maura Stottler scored a goal in each half as the Hall-Dale High School girls soccer team beat Oak Hill 3-1 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Wednesday.

Eva Shepherd also scored, with an assist from Stottler, for Hall-Dale (2-2-0). Lilly Ly also had an assist for the Bulldogs and Olivia Maynard earned the win with seven saves.

Julie Morneault scored from Bri Latulippe for Oak Hill (3-1-0). Desiree Johnson had 12 saves.

Monmouth 2, Wiscasset 0: Kylie Kemp and Melissa Brassard each scored to lift the Mustangs in an MVC game in Monmouth.

Kemp scored on a penalty kick at the 21st minute to give Monmouth (6-0-0) the only goal it would need.

Adriana Gonzales had saves to earn the shutout.

Kayla Gordon had eight saves for the Wolverines (3-2-1).

St. Dominic 7, Winthrop 0: Kayla McLellan scored four goals as the Saints cruised to an MVC win over the Ramblers in Winthrop.

Marley Byrne, Kym Johnson and Jen McLean also scored for St. Dominic (0-5-1). Faith Grady, Sarah Trott, Tia Rotolico and Katie Emery each had an assist.

Kelly Pomerleau had three saves for the Saints.

Danielle Pease had 17 saves for Winthrop (0-5-1).

Spruce Mountain 3, Winthrop 2, OT: Erin Gats scored with a minute left in overtime as the Phoenix beat the Ramblers in an MVC game in Jay.

Kelsey Stoneton scored with six minutes left in regulation with an assist from Liz Glover as Winthrop (5-1-0) tied the game at 2. The Ramblers took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Rachel Ingram in the first half, before Spruce Mountain (5-1-0) scored back-to-back goals to tie it. Gats scored with two seconds left in the first half and Nicole Hamblin midway through the second half for Spruce Mountain.

Casey Richards had six saves for Spruce Mountain, while Alyssa Arsenault had eight saves for Winthrop.

Men’s soccer

UNE 3, UMF 0: Kyle McGlone, Matthew Christie and Jeremy Hill each scored to lead the Nor’easters in a non-conference game at Barbara J. Hazard Field in Biddeford.

Sophomore goalie Aidan McParland had three saves for his third career shutout for UNE.

Freshman goalie Chris Roberts stopped four shots for the Beavers (3-2-0).

College field hockey

USM 4, UMF 2: The Huskies scored twice in a span of 77 seconds late in the second half to break a 2-2 tie and go on to the win in Farmington.

Rachel Trafton scored the game-winner for USM (4-1) with 4:28 to play. Peyton Dostie added an unassisted goal with 3:11 remaining. Stephanie Lomasney and Ariel Kaplan also scored for the Huskies. Kayla Kennedy made six saves.

Lily Barry had both UMF goals. Skowhegan graduate Becky Pratt and Messalonskee graduate Mara Balboni each had an assist. Curran Brierley finished with five saves for the Beavers.

Also Wednesday: Husson University goalie Jessica Poulin, an Albion native, stopped 12 shots, including five in 20 minutes of overtime play, in the Eagles’ 1-0 loss to St. Joseph’s in a women’s college soccer game in Standish. … Hannah Thornberg scored five minutes into sudden-death overtime as the Endicott field hockey team beat Dartmouth 3-2 in Beverly, Mass.
