WATERVILLE — National Imagemakers photography contest recently announced a photo by Sebastian Bouchard was named best in the 10-12 age group, black-and-white category. It was later announced that Madisyn Collier also won first place in Atlanta, Collier’s color Christmas photo was named best in the 13-15 age group.
The winning photos were originally part of the Greater Waterville club’s spring contest and exhibit, Kids With Cameras. KWC is part of the National Imagemakers contest sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of America.
In four years of participating in the Imagemakers contest, the Greater Waterville Boys and Girls Club has sent entries on to the national finals every time. The club now has generated three national Best of Shows. This year’s winners, in addition to receiving individual awards, will have their photos posted on the imagemakersbgca.org photo gallery.
