I would like to thank area residents for their generosity and support of the annual Drive Out Cancer event that took place between Cony and Gardiner high schools. In August, the 2012 Relay For Life’s publicity committee stood with the Augusta and Gardiner communities to Drive Out Cancer by sharing how money raised at Relay For Life supports the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.
A special thanks to the many students, advisers, parents, teachers and volunteers who worked to make this event a success. The turnout was wonderful and the information we provided was welcomed with open arms.
