WATERVILLE — Nickyia Lovely scored two goals as the Gardiner Area High School field hockey team earned a 4-0 win over Camden Hills in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Saturday on the turf field at Thomas College.

Nicole Chadwick also had a goal and an assist for Gardiner (5-1-0), while Brooke Davis had a pair of assists. Ellen Kelley added a goal and Madeline Reny had an assist for the Tigers.

Emalee Couturue and Olivia Philbrook had each had two saves for Gardiner, while Zia Sulick had had eight saves for Camden Hills (2-4-0).

Mt. Ararat 2, Cony 1: The Eagles scored a pair of second-half goals en route to the KVA A win in Augusta.

Arika Brochu gave the Rams a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first half before Micaela Mitchell and Caitlin LaFountain scored for the Eagles in the second half.

Kevie Rodrigue made 20 saves for Cony (2-3-1) while Taylor Pare had five for Mt. Ararat (4-2-0).

Mountain Valley 2 Hall-Dale 1: Peyton Provencher scored and Vanessa Swett stopped four shots to lead the Falcons to the Mountain Valley Conference win.

Shanay Gilbert scored the lone goal for Hall-Dale (1-6-0) while Lexi Moran had the assist.

Mountain Valley improved to 4-2-1.

Girls soccer

Gardiner 5, Belfast 2: Ally Day scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Belfast.

Morgan Carver scored two goals for Gardiner while Natalie Callahan and Lyean Violette scored for Belfast.

Maddie Cutler made seven saves for Gardiner (5-1-0) while Breanna Cummings had nine saves for Belfast (2-4-0).

Erskine 4, Oxford Hills 0: Jade Canak and Bridget Humphrey each scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A victory.

Canak scored her goals in the first half while Humphrey struck in the second half.

Kelly McCormac had two assists for Erskine (3-2-1).

Lawrence 3, Messalonskee 0: Faith Forsythe had a goal and two assists to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Forsythe assisted on goals by Ahlin Sungsuyan and Lindsay Morris before scoring on a penalty kick.

Paige Belanger and Ashley Yahnel combined for seven saves in goal for Lawrence (3-2-1) while Shawna Oliver made 15 for Messalonskee (0-5-0).

Boys soccer

Hall-Dale 6, Dirigo 0: Zack McNaughton and Nat Crocker scored two goals apiece to lead the unbeaten Bulldogs to the MVC win in Dixfield.

Tyler Fitzgerald and Colin Lush added goals for the winners while Crocker, Lush, Zac Plummer, Nick Sinclair and Spencer Shagoury recorded assists. Sam Shepherd made one save for Hall-Dale (7-0-0) while Michael Chow stopped 11 shots for Dirigo (5-2-0).

Oak Hill 2, Mountain Valley 0: Trever Sampson and Cody Rolston scored goals to lead the Raiders to the MVC win in Wales. Dalton Burns added an assist for the Raiders (2-3-1) while goalkeeper Kyle Fields made 14 saves.

Erskine 4, Oxford Hills 0: Tyler Adams scored two goals and Jared Gartley had six saves to lead the Eagles in South China.

Dane Pelletier and Nate Trask also scored for Erskine (4-1-0).

Jake Deauchesne had 12 saves for the Vikings (1-5-0).

Winchendon 4, Kents Hill 2: Jared Cockrell scored two goals for the Huskies, but it wasn’t enough in the season opener.

Matt Bolduc scored two goals and an assist to help Winchendon (2-0-0) post the victory. Robert Patenaude and Luke Dragonetti combined for 18 saves for Kents Hill (0-1-0).
