BANGOR — Farmingdale native Ryan Dorso rushed for a 75-yard touchdown with 13 seconds left in the fourth quaretr to give the Husson University a dramatic 28-22 win over Anna Maria at the Winkin Complex on Saturday afternoon.

It marked the first victory for Husson since Oct. 9, 2010, when it also defeated Anna Maria.

Husson (1-2) fell behind 22-21 when Robert Small rushed for a 21-yard touchdown with 59 seconds left in the game.

Dorso, who played at Kents Hill, rushed for a game-high 202 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.

The Eagles trailed 16-14 before Dorso scored his first touchdown, a 33-yard run with 2:48 left in the third quarter.

Small rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns to lead Anna Maria (1-2).

Plymouth State 13, MMA 7: Plymouth State stopped Billy Wetherbee on fourth and goal from the one yard line late in the game to preserve the victory.

Andrew Foglia also rushed for 98 yards to lead Plymouth (1-2).

Ryan O’Neal rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown to lead MMA (0-2).
