LEWISTON — Kaitlyn Therriault scored on a penalty kick late in the second half as the Skowhegan Area High School girls soccer team earned a 1-1 tie in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Saturday.
Kyleigh Letourneau scored from Cassie Regner earlier in the half to give Lewiston (0-4-2) a 1-0 lead.
Andrea Quirion had 17 saves for Skowhegan (1-4-1). Lexie Jiminez had five saves for Lewiston.
Winslow 2, MCI 0: Autumn Poulin and Calli Lavarnway scored goals to lead the host Black Raiders to the KVAC B win. Devin Fitzgibbons added an assist for Winslow (4-2-0) while goalie Hillary Libby made 15 saves.
Rheanna Lawn made 13 saves for Maine Central Institute (1-5-0).
Mt. View 1, Lincoln Academy 1: Mikell Grant scored with 6 minutes, 27 seconds left in regulation to help Mt. View rally from a 1-0 deficit and earn the tie.
Camille Lazarri gave Lincoln the 1-0 lead when she scored with 11:28 left in the second half.
Logan Basford had three saves for Mt. View.
Erskine 4, Oxford Hills 0: Jade Canak and Bridget Humphrey each scored two goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A victory.
Canak scored her goals in the first half while Humphrey struck in the second half.
Kelly McCormac had two assists for Erskine (3-2-1).
Oxford Hills dropped to 0-4-1.
Lawrence 3, Messalonskee 0: Faith Forsythe had a goal and two assists to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Oakland.
Forsythe assisted on goals from Ahlin Sungsuyan and Lindsay Morris before scoring on a penalty kick.
Paige Belanger and Ashley Yahnel combined for seven saves in goal for Lawrence (3-2-1) while Shawna Oliver made 15 for Messalonskee (0-5-0).
Boys soccer
Waterville 4, Mt. Blue 0: Michael Olivera scored two goals as the Purple Panthers cruised to a KVAC A win over the Cougars in Waterville.
Danilo Guthro added a goal and an assist for Waterville (2-2-1). Nate Rector chipped in a goal, while Cam Gardiner, Ryan Tozier and Nate Bailey all had an assist. Zack Disch and Liam Edwards combined for three save.
Zach Jackson had 13 saves for Mt. Blue (1-4-0).
Erskine 4, Oxford Hills 0: Tyler Adams scored two goals and Jared Gartley had six saves to lead the Eagles in South China.
Dane Pelletier and Nate Trask also scored for Erskine (4-1-0).
Jake Deauchesne had 12 saves for the Vikings (1-5-0).
