Maine Robotics has partnered with local groups and robot teams from around the state to offer Robot Open Houses. The Open Houses are designed to provide all ages with details of existing robot programs running in the state.

Three open houses are offered this month, they are all free and will run 6-8 p.m. Bangor’s event will be Tuesday at Maine Discovery Museum; Oakland’s open house will be Friday at Messalonskee High School’s cafeteria; and Falmouth’s event will be Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Falmouth High School’s cafeteria.

Registration is not required. Organizer’s will have teams to tell participants about the FIRST LEGO League (ages 9-14), the VEX Robotics Competition (middle and high schools), and the FIRST Robotics Competition (high school).

From 6:15 to approximately 6:45 we’ll have

There will be presentations about the different programs from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.. The rest of the time people can wander around asking questions of Maine Robotics staff or from the teams representing the different programs.
