READFIELD — Brooke Davis scored a goal and assisted on another to help the Gardiner field hockey team blank Maranacook 3-0 in a Class B game Wednesday afternoon.
Abby Dunn and Courtney Moulton also scored for the Tigers (6-1).
Madeline Reny and Ellen Kelley each had assists as well.
Amber Ridlon had 16 saves to pace the Black Bears (0-6).

Girls soccer

Hall-Dale 1, Mt. Abram 0: Lily Ly scored from Evan Shepherd as the Bulldogs beat the Roadrunners in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.
Olivia Maynard had four saves for Hall-Dale (4-2-1).
Allison Lopez stopped eight shots for Mt. Abram (3-3-1).

Men’s soccer

St. Joe’s 2, UM-Farmington 0: The Monks scored twice in the second half to pick up a non-conference win over the Beavers in Farmington.
Zach Johnson and Calvin Servaes scored for St. Joe’s (3-4-1). Cody Snyder and Ross Suleski each had an assist.
Paul Dupre had six saves for UMF (1-5-0).

Field hockey

Colby 3, UNE 0: Ellie Donahue scored two goals to lead the Mules to a non-conference win in Biddeford. Megan Fortier had a goal and an assist for Colby (2-2) as well. Caroline Keaveney also had an assist and Michelle Burt had 10 saves for Colby.
UNE dropped to 3-3.

Women’s volleyball

Bowdoin-Colby postponed: The women’s volleyball game between Bowdoin and Colby scheduled for Wednesday evening at Wadsworth Gymnasium was postponed after the fire department was called to investigate a gas-like smell, according to a press release from Colby. No make-up date was announced.

Also Wednesday: Hannah Thornberg scored her team-high seventh goal of the season in the Endicott College field hockey team’s 3-2 loss to Salem State in Beverly, Mass.
