WINSLOW — A Gary Osborn Scholarship five-mile run and two-mile fun run/walk are set for Saturday, Oct. 6, at Winslow High School, 20 Danielson St. The five-mile race will begin at 9 a.m.; the two-mile family fun run/walk will follow at 9:15 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m.
Cost for the five-mile race is $20 pre-registration or $25 on race day; the fun run cost $10 pre-registration or $15 on race day.
If you cannot attend and wish to contribute to the scholarship, make checks payable to “Winslow High School.”
Donations, completed entry form and entry fee can be mailed to: Joan Pierce, Winslow High School Science Dept., 20 Danielson St., Winslow, ME 04901.
Free T-shirts will be given to all those pre-register by Monday, Sept. 24.
