LOUDON, N.H. — Ray Parent took home a payday worth over $6,000 on Saturday, picking up his first-ever ACT victory by winning the 4th annual Bond ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Parent beat Patrick Laperle and former invitational winner Joey Polewarczyk Jr. to the checkered flag for the victory.

Parent took advantage of a caution early in the race, making a four-wide move to break into the top five. He made another move and took the lead on lap 19. He began to pull away but Macdonald, Wayne Helliwell Jr., Polewarczyk and Dan McHattie closed in.

A caution on lap 26 brough Macdonald and Parent together, but Macdonald fell back in the field and forced out of the race.

Polewarczyk and Parent battled for the lead after a caution on the 33rd lap, and Laperle joined the leaders on lap 35. Parent pulled away down the stretch and Laperle slid past Polewarczyk on the final lap to take second.
