The Cony golf team advanced to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference championship with a 6.5-2.5 win against Oceanside at Natanis Golf Course.

The Rams edged the Mariners by two strokes in the team score with a four-man total of 166. Tyler Leet, Alec Peachey and Casey Bancroft won individual matches for the Rams while Thomas Foster halved his match. Zach Gagne shot the low round of the day for Cony with 39 but was nipped by a stroke by Oceanside’s Nick Mazurek.

Cony (9-2) advances to Wednesday’s championship in Rockland against Bangor and the winner of the Oxford Hills-Brunswick match.

Girls soccer

Richmond 12, Greater Portland Christian 0: Noell Acord scored four goals to lead the visiting Bobcats to the Class D win. Sadie Gosse added two goals and three assists for Richmond (8-0-0). Jessie Anair and Amber Loon each had two goals while Kelsea Anair and Payton Johnson had one goal apiece. Kelsie Obi and Jessie Anair combined to make one save.

Clarissa Jones stopped 24 shots for GPC (0-5-0).

Oak Hill 3, Winthrop 0: Jamie Prue scored two goals to lead the visiting Raiders to the Mountain Valley Conference win. Kayla Jones added an unassisted goal for Oak Hill (6-3-0). Miranda Marquis chipped in with an assist. Kelsey Collins stopped seven shots.

Danielle Pease made 20 saves for Winthrop (0-9-1).
