BELGRADE — The Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons will be part of three consecutive weekends that will bring people to Belgrade to shop local.

* The Center will host its first Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event will bring more than 20 home sales representatives under one roof. The vendors are part of the small business network in Maine, many hold full-time jobs besides their in-home sales business. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase, sample and order products they may not have seen before. They can book home parties and view fall/winter merchandise. Baked goods will be sold by the Belgrade Central School PTO, lunch will be sold by the Board of Parks and Recreation and a table that will be collecting care package donations for Belgrade soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

* Oktoberfest will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 6. Many of Belgrade Village’s shops and restaurants will host fun events throughout the day. Leaf-peepers can enjoy music, food and family fun. There will be hay rides, crafts and local produce. The Center for All Seasons will have family activities including a bounce house, pumpkin carving, games and more from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults can return to the Center to enjoy an Oktoberfest Beer and Wine Garden fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m., which has been sponsored by many local businesses.

* The Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons will host its annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. There will be about 25 tables of locally made items. Cub Scouts will sell lunch and the Board of Parks and Recreation will sell baked goods.
