BANGOR — Maddie Tight scored in overtime to give the Colby women’s soccer team a 1-0 non-conference win over Husson in Bangor.

Tight scored about 17 minutes into overtime, converting a pass from Emma Marjollet.

The Mules improved to 5-1-0.

Jessica Poulin had 17 saves to lead Husson.

Men’s soccer

Colby 7, USM 0: Chris Pratt, Keith Chernin, Nick Aubin and Gray Louis each had a goal and an assist as the Mules beat the Huskies in a non-conference game in Gorham.

Colby, which has scored 14 goals in the last two games, is now 2-2-2.

USM took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Mazen Alijari at 14:27 of the first half, before the Mules rattled off seven straight goals. Jonathan Sommer tied it at 28:30, the Matt Ayers gave Colby the lead with 21 seconds left in the first half.

Charlie Dupee also scored for Colby, while Cody Funkhouser and Oliver Fornell each had a save in the win.

Women’s tennis

Colby 9, Thomas 0: First-year player Elizabeth Bogo won at first single and was part of the second doubles win as the Mules beat the Terriers in Waterville.

Bogo teamed with Mckenzie Love for an 8-0 win at second doubles. Sarah Wiener and Victoria Abel won 8-2 at first doubles, while Alex McAuliff of Waterville and Sally Holmes won 8-1 at the third spot.

Erica Talamo, Maggie Sutherland, Danielle Levine, Jessamine Dyus and Meredith Zakon won at singles for Colby (2-0). Thomas falls to 2-5.
