BETHEL — Kylie Kemp scored four goals, including three in the first half, as Monmouth defeated Telstar 6-0 in Mountain Valley Conference girls soccer action Thursday.

Morgan Rush added a pair of goals for Monmouth (9-0-0). Sammy Grandahl, Melissa Brassard and Madison Bumann each had an assist. Adriana Gonzales stopped two shots.

Maisey Griffin had 15 saves for Telstar (1-7-1).

Richmond 6, Bangor Christian 0: The Bobcats scored six times in the second half on their way to a victory in Richmond.

Amber Loon had three goals and two assists for Richmond, which remains unbeaten at 9-0-0. Kelsea Anair, Noell Acord and Sadie Goss also scored goals, while Goss and Andra Meagher each added an assist. Keslie Obi had three saves.

Margaret McDonald had 12 saves for Bangor Christian (6-3).

Mt. Abram 1, Oak Hill 0: Taylor Henderson’s goal three minutes into the game stood up as the Roadrunners came away with the MVC win in Wales. Oak Hill held a 14-4 advantage in shots on goal. Allison Lopez made 12 saves for Mt. Abram (5-4-1) while Kelsey Collins had thre for oak Hill (6-4-0).

Field hockey

Cony 1, Edward Little 1, 2OT: Emily Bowers scored from Katie Carroll with 7:10 left in regulation as the Rams earned a KVAC A tie in Auburn.

Kevie Rodrigue had 13 saves for the Rams (2-6-2), who had a 19-14 edge in penalty corners.

Taylor Berube scored Kaelina Perron earlier in the second half for Edward Little (2-8-1). Amanda Williams had 17 saves.

Messalonskee 9, Hampden 0: Emily York and Kylee Knight each had a hat trick to lead the visiting Eagles to the KVAC A win.

Kristy Bernatchez scored two goals for Messalonskee (8-1-0) while Lynnae Luettich had a goal and two assists. Bernatchez also chipped in with two assists. Abby Roberts didn’t have to make a save in net.

Mt. View 3, Gardiner 0: Brittany Masessa scored twice to lead the Mustangs to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Braley Leadbetter had the other goal for Mt. View (7-3-0). Andrea Smith and Anna Tsomides each chipped in with an assist. Abbie Charrier made three saves.

Olivia Philbrook stopped 17 shots for Gardiner (7-3-0).
