I’m voting for Democrat Maeghan Maloney for district attorney. She has earned my respect with her work to create a Veterans Court that will protect and assist our soldiers suffering from addiction and mental illness.
As an attorney, Maloney consistently advocates for those with special needs and protects the rights of children, continuing to help those who need it the most.
Maloney’s extensive experience as an attorney here in Maine, in Oregon and abroad is impressive and will serve us well.
In Oregon, she served as deputy district attorney and returned to Maine to raise her family and worked as assistant attorney general. She is a lifelong Democrat, but she continues to work across party lines every day to make Maine a safer community for us all. I hope others join me and vote Maloney for district attorney.
