Working with Scott Davis, Republican candidate for House District 82, I have found that his leadership style incorporates civility, collaboration and common sense in a way that is seldom seen.

Davis seeks input from all those who serve and receives input in a respectful fashion regardless of the speaker’s point of view.

He is able to listen to, and consider, all points of view with an open mind. Scott then applies common sense to what has been heard to act in the best interest of the organization.

He listens, analyzes the facts and then acts.

Scott’s desire to lead in this fashion gets decisions made and allows forward movement of the organization, which has greatly benefited the health care organizations to which he contributes.

This is exactly the type of leadership that we need in state government, one of civility, collaboration and common sense to bridge the divide.
