It’s been hard to escape all the yard signs announcing the names of candidates running for office.
I can’t help but notice the dozens and dozens (and dozens) of signs for Matt Pouliot, Republican candidate for House District 57, part of Augusta.
That is because Matt is the type of candidate whose outstanding character, ability to listen and desire to improve our state earns him support from people regardless of party affiliation.
Matt is easy to talk to and will gladly share with his listener the issues that are important to him. Most of all, he wants to know which issues are most important to the people he talks with.
I think that is why people have decided to support Matt and to display a Pouliot sign proudly on their lawn. And I can’t blame them!
I will be voting for Matt Pouliot.
