I believe Corey Wilson would make a wonderful representative for District 56, covering the east side of Augusta.
I have gotten to know Wilson over the last year while volunteering for local nonprofit organizations.
Wilson, a Republican, is a team player who loves to help the community. He will jump in wherever he can to help out: fixing an appliance for a new local business, wearing an elf suit to a community Christmas event, picking up trash along the riverfront, walking to prevent hunger, and researching economic development programs to learn how Augusta might benefit from them.
He brings good ideas and enthusiasm, and the community greatly benefits from his involvement.
Wilson has shown tremendous aptitude for leadership as someone who unites people around a common cause and is an independent thinker.
I believe he would represent District 56 with energy and tenacity, listening closely to all of our concerns.
