Sharon Treat, D-District 79, is a leader in efforts to build a future for young people in our communities.

Not only is she a consistent supporter of policies aimed at improving public education, but she also works to bring innovative, higher-paying jobs to our state.

As a recent college graduate who plans to work in Maine, I especially appreciate these efforts. Treat has shown unwavering support for small businesses, and promoted policies that encourage the creation of sustainable, high-tech jobs. Her support of the Maine-based research and development proposal earlier this year is a prime example of this. These types of long-term investments in the future of Maine’s younger generations will allow our communities to grow and thrive.

We need to re-elect Treat so that her continued leadership in the House will help to pave the way for future generations of hardworking, independent Mainers.
