During economic hard times, Sen. Roger Katz, R-District 24, worked with his colleagues across party lines to close the state budget without raising taxes.
When called on by MSEA/SEIU to help its member understand how the state budget and certain bills would affect state employees, Katz met with them at union hall.
Katz also was effective in helping to soften some of the governor’s initial proposals, which affected state employees, welfare reform and each and every citizen in the state.
Katz is an excellent listener. He weighs all sides before making a decision.
Katz is compassionate and determined to make a difference for all and has been successful in accomplishing these goals. That is why I support Katz for re-election to the Maine Senate.
