WATERVILLE — State officials will be at Colby College next week to talk about energy and the economy during a forum hosted by the college’s student Republicans.

The event is 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Olin Building at Colby College.

Ken Fletcher, the director of the Governor’s Energy Office will speak about the future of energy in the state.

State Treasurer Bruce Poliquin will speak about challenges and solutions for the state economy.

Mark André, Republican candidate for House District 76, will also speak about his candidacy and his campaign platform.

The speakers will open the floor to questions immediately following each talk.
