Angus King, independent candidate for U.S. Senate, has an advertisement out that is very interesting.
First, he points out that Republican Charlie Summers signed a no-new taxes pledge. It’s hard to believe that Summers doesn’t think that the government’s overspending problem should be solved by enacting more taxes for the public to pay.
King also says Summers doesn’t buy into the whole global warming theory and points out that Washington is broken.
Washington isn’t broken; it’s the crooked politicians running it who are broken. You know, the ones who have been raising taxes and spending for years unchecked, the ones who support the latest “the sky is falling” mentality with global warming and the ones who’ve been voting themselves pay raises on a fairly regular basis.
People should remember that when they vote, he is Angus King, and he approved that message.
