It is hard to find a candidate who is genuine both in political life and real life. Les Fossel, Republican candidate for Senate District 20, fills that bill.

I would like to share a personal experience I had with him.

I was speaking with Fossel in the parking lot of a local restaurant when suddenly, in mid-sentence, I collapsed and began having some kind of convulsion. Fossel not only called the paramedics, but he followed me to the hospital and stayed with me for hours while tests were taken.

After no conclusive results were found, Fossel drove me home and took me back to retrieve my car after I had gotten a good rest.

It is hard to find genuinely decent and caring people running for office. I’m sure Fossel will mold legislation that will assure that Maine will be a place where traditional values will form the base of political policy.
