PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Some traffic lanes on the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge between Portsmouth, N.H., and Kittery, Maine, will be closed for up to six days while the bridge is inspected.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says the work is scheduled to start Monday and will involve lane closures from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for close to a week.
Workers and warning signs will be used to notify motorists, who are being asked to use alternate routes if possible to avoid delays.
