AUGUSTA — The cost of heating oil has grown 5 cents in the latest survey in Maine.
The governor’s energy office said Monday that the average heating oil cost is $3.75 per gallon, which is 25 cents higher than it was this time last year.
Prices ranged from a high of $3.92 to a low of $3.60.
The survey said the average cost of kerosene was $4.19, up 5 cents; the average cost was $2.64, up 2 cents, for propane in quantities used for hearing.
