AUGUSTA — Maine mystery writers Vicki Doudera and Beth Feeman will give readings and book signings this week as part of Lithgow Public Library’s Mystery Month series.

Doudera, a real estate broker and former Realtor of the Year, is author of the Darby Farr mystery series starring real estate agent Darby Farr. Books in the series include “A House to Die For,” “Killer Listing” and “Deadly Offer.” She is a resident of Camden. Her talk will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Feeman, along with husband Robert Feeman, writes under the pseudonym B. B. Haywood. Their mystery series takes place in the fictional town of Cape Willington and features Candy Holliday, amateur sleuth and co-owner of Holliday’s Blueberry Farm. Titles in the series are: “Town in a Blueberry Jam,” “Town in a Lobster Stew,” and “Town in a Wild Moose Chase.” Freeman’s program will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Both are free and open to the public and will take place in the Reading Room at the library, 45 Winthrop St.

The final Mystery Month author event will feature Gerry Boyle, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.
