As a lifelong resident of Augusta, I have always taken great pride in our city.

I want to serve in the Legislature because I will help make Maine a better place for all generations. We are on the verge of leaving behind a world that is in worse condition than we found it. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, we must work together to avoid this.

Every day, I read a question that is on my wall: “How will the world be different tomorrow as a result of you living today”? Each day, I strive to answer this question with a single word — “better.”

I thank the people of Augusta for opening their doors when I have knocked and for sharing their worries and dreams. I ask for their vote on Nov. 6 to make Maine a better place.

Matt Pouliot

Republican, House District 57
