We need more people like Rep. Jeff McCabe in Augusta who stand up for workers.

A recent article highlighted McCabe’s stance: “I am running for office to continue to stand up for Maine working families in Augusta and wherever the fight brings me.”

When McCabe thought he could help workers at New Balance he flew to Washington, D.C., to speak about fair trade. He brought a message that those good jobs need to stay in Norridgewock and Skowhegan and not be sent overseas.

McCabe, Democratic candidate for House District 85, is committed to comprehensive tax reform. In his own words, “Everyone pays their fair share and working- and middle-class Mainers have more money in their pockets.”

McCabe stands by workers and stands up against insurance companies and those wanting to take away workers rights.
