In these difficult times, we need concerned help with the issues that we deal with in this economy, and we need someone who is looking after us each and every day.
Rep. Sharon Treat, Democratic candidate for House District 79, is that person. She has watched over us in the past and is ready, willing and able to continue to do so.
She is a caring individual who actually listens to her constituency. She knows how important it is to have someone looking after the people of Hallowell and West Gardiner.
I, for one, am thrilled that a woman of her intelligence and concern is running for state office again when government in general appears to be broken and unresponsive. How can we not support her and her run for office? I know I do.
