AUGUSTA — A Halloween celebration featuring a visit from the Headless Horseman will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Viles Arboretum, 153 Hospital St.

There will also be pumpkin carving, marshmallow roasting and games. Hot mulled cider will be served and “Sleepy Hollow” will be read around a campfire. Participants are encouraged to come in costume; prizes for best costumes will be awarded. Twisted Strings will provide musical entertainment. Hot dogs, coleslaw and chips will be for sale.
