AUGUSTA — The third Forum on the Future series event on Sunday at the University of Maine at Augusta will focus on “Better Health Care — at Lower Cost” and feature a guest speaker and panelists on that topic.

Elizabeth Mitchell, chief executive officer of the Maine Health Management Coalition, will speak. Panelists will be Sue Henderson, who has served two terms as president of the American Nurses Association; Mike Donahue, vice president of Payor Contracting and Relations at Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems; and Skip White, general manager, Employer and Provider Partnerships, Martin’s Point Health Care. Chuck Acker of the university’s Senior College will serve as moderator. Audience members are encouraged to ask questions.

The forum will begin at 2 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. It is presented by the UMA’s College of Arts and Sciences and Senior College.
