Like many other Democrats, I am supporting Darrick Banda, Republican candidate for district attorney for Kennebec and Somerset counties.
Banda has worked on both sides of the fence as a former assistant district attorney and then as a respected member of the defense bar.
He is exceptionally qualified to serve as our district attorney and will continue the solid respect for the office set by Evert Fowle, David Crook, Joe Jabar, Justice Donald Marden and others who served local citizens so well.
Vote for Banda for district attorney; it’s the right thing to do.
