Shirley Hanley is the Republican candidate for the Maine House of Representatives District 59.

She has a great deal of experience that would qualify her for this position.

Hanley is very concerned for veterans issues. She and her husband, Peter, were instrumental in establishing the Randolph Veterans Memorial.

Volunteering is high on her list, as she has been involved in many of her church programs, the Gardiner Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.

In addition, she has spent many hours at the Gardiner Library reading to children, with children’s plays at the Johnson Hall, as a Hospice volunteer and with the Grieving Children’s Program.

She was member of MSAD11 School Board.

Hanley is a mother of eight children and was selected Maine Mother of the Year in 2004.

Through all her time helping others, she still had time to write two books.

Vote for a strong candidate. Vote for Hanley.
