I am pleased to support Patsy Crockett, Democratic candidate for House District 57, the seat she held very effectively from 2006 to 2010.

Crockett’s previous service resulted in passage of 18 bills she sponsored, an indicator of her experience in preparation.

One of these bills involved jail consolidation, saving our state $8 million.

I have been employed in the House Chamber for 14 years and have seen Crockett in action, observed her contacts with colleagues of the House.

She is prepared, pleasant and confident with her primary focus on what is best for Maine people and the statee. When she tells people she will “get back to them,” she always does.

Crockett may not be a “new voice,” but she is one with experience, intelligence and honesty and is not afraid of hard work.

I hope others will join me in voting for her on Nov. 6.
