It is clear from the candidate profiles in the paper that Democratic Rep. Jeff McCabe is the right choice.
As a business owner, I can speak firsthand about regulation and the burdens. McCabe has worked to address burdensome regulations for farms and small businesses. I have worked with McCabe and watched him work with members of all parties.
McCabe knows protecting children from dangerous chemicals is vital, and I have seen him support those efforts as well.
McCabe listens to all sides of the issues; he does not vote party lines, as some say. He votes based on what is best for all the people of Skowhegan.
McCabe has worked every day to promote his vision for a stronger rural economy for over 10 years. Agriculture, forestry, recreation and small locally owned businesses are part of that vision. I hope others join me in voting for McCabe, House District 85.
