I am proud to be voting for Democrat Rep. Sharon Treat for state representative from House District 79.
Treat has always fought for Maine families, and more than ever we need someone in our corner now. Let me give one example: Fighting to keep good manufacturing jobs in Maine.
Treat has been working tirelessly on something called the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This international trade agreement poses a dangerous threat to Maine manufacturing such as New Balance in Skowhegan.
New Balance provides good jobs for Maine families. In this economy, we can’t throw those jobs away. That’s why Treat is fighting for them. And that’s one reason I’m casting my vote for Treat. I hope others will join me in voting for someone who will always be in our corner.
