PRESQUE ISLE — Megan Ireland and Chandler Guerrette each scored two goals as the top-seeded Presque Isle girls soccer team beat Winslow 5-1 in an Eastern B semifinal Saturday.

“There is no question they are the No. 1 seed in the East,” Winslow coach Shawn Carey said. “But we didn’t give up. We played right until the end.”

Alliyah Veilleux scored the lone goal for the No. 4 Black Raiders (12-3-1).

Eastern A girls soccer

Hampden 4, Erskine 2: The Eagles’ surprising run through the Eastern A tournament came to an end.

The No. 3 Broncos (12-4-0) raced out to a 3-0 lead in the first half and never looked back in a regional semifinal game in Hampden.

“It was a pretty good game,” Erskine coach Ryan Nored said. “They had the better offense today.”

Bridget Humphrey scored both goals for the seventh-seeded Eagles, who reached the semifinals by knocking out previously undefeated Brunswick.

Hampden will play No. 1 Bangor in the regional final Wednesday.

Bangor 4, Mt. Blue 0: Grace McLean scored three goals and Allison Boulier added another to lead top-seeded Bangor in an Eastern A semifinal game in Bangor.

Anna-Maria Dagher added an assist for Bangor (15-1-1).

Gabby Foy had eight saves and Thia Bridges had three for No. 5 Mt. Blue (9-6-1).

Eastern B boys soccer

Camden Hills 2, Winslow 1, OT: Taylor Roy scored in the first half for No. 3 Winslow (11-2-3).

The score stayed that way until No. 2 Camden scored midway through the second half. The second-seeded Windjammers then scored midway through overtime on a corner kick to secure the victory.

Alex Berard had 11 saves for Winslow.
