I have nothing against religion, unless it is organized. The Mormons, or Latter-day Saints, are extremely organized.

They keep close tabs on all their members, telling them what to think, how to behave, what not to drink, how much money to give to their church, and what kind of undergarments to wear.

Mitt Romney has been involved in this church all his life and has risen to their high ranking of stake president, which is above a bishop.

I would venture to guess that he has donated more of his vast fortune to the LDS than he has to the IRS.

If Romney is elected, it would be the first time America would have a president who is also a church leader or clergyman of a specific religious group.

This is scary, particularly for those of us who hold sacred the strict separation between church and state.
