Not many people have the years in Augusta elected office that I do. As councilor and mayor, I served with some great Augusta people who placed Augusta first in what they were doing.
Their styles may have differed, but the constant was always “Augusta First.”
While I haven’t served with Dave Rollins on the same elected body, my tenure as chairman of the Augusta Board of Education coincided with his on the Augusta City Council. I observed vision and leadership from Rollins.
I place Rollins in the category of public servant who places Augusta first. He wants nothing but the best for the community that has been very good to him and his family. He’s been working hard for Augusta. I know he plans to continue to do so.
I support Rollins for the Augusta City Council. He deserves your vote. He got mine.
