AUGUSTA — Groups supporting adoptions are honoring Maine’s first lady Ann LePage.
The Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine Inc. and the Adoption Awareness Committee plan a tea at the Blaine House on Thursday afternoon to honor Mrs. LePage and several families who have adopted from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, or adopted privately and internationally.
The groups cite the time and caring the first lady has provided to the adoptive families in Maine.
